Servings

2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut (diced)
  • 2 cups of water

1

Open the coconut with a hammer. Remove the flesh with a knife. Wash it. Dice the coconut.

2

In a bowl / jug, mix the chopped coconut and water. Blend.

3

Using a nut milk bag, strain the milk.

4

Squeeze the coconut meal to extract all of the liquid.

Note:

  • You can make delicious recipes with the coconut pulp which is inside the bag.

5

Store the milk in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.

Tip:

  • If you want to get the most out of the coconut, repeat the steps using the coconut meal left in the nut milk bag. Mix them with water, blend and strain again.
