Hello friends! Today I am showing you again an easy recipe, but very tasty. I have several hummus recipes uploaded to my food blog, but this one is definitely my favorite. Add lemon juice if desired. I preferred not to add it because the tomatoes are slightly sour and I didn't think it was necessary. I recommend Lidl's dried tomatoes. They are very aromatic and super tasty. If you decide to cook the chickpeas yourself, my advice is to soak them the night before. I cook it in the pressure cooker with baking soda and always remove the skins with a towel.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas, boiled
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomato oil
  • 4 pieces dried tomatoes + for decoration
  • 1 tsp salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic, small
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.

Blend the ingredients using a food processor or hand blender.

Decorate according to your taste. I used sun dried tomatoes oil from the jar, finely chopped 1-2 dried tomatoes, sprinkled with chili flakes and garnished with a dry chili pepper.
